Featuring two Pharmaworks technologies, and focusing on one relevant topic
Welcome to the February 2023 edition of Pharmaworks Features & Focus.
In this regular publication, we highlight two Pharmaworks technologies for blister packaging operations, and we take a deep dive into one topic of relevance for users of blister packaging equipment.
This month, the technologies we are featuring are a Blister Machine integrated with a Greydon online Printer and our VIS15 Vibratory Vision Inspection System. And the topic we will be focusing on is Blister Packaging Feeding Systems, as we have just published a new white paper on that topic.
TF1 Blister Machine integrated with a Greydon online printer
ProMach product brand Greydon’s new in-line UVMax™ flexo printer eliminates the need to procure and manage pre-printed blister backing materials, because it integrates online printing with your blister packaging line. Just before the blister pack is formed, UVMax uses quick-change flexo plates and UV-cured inks to print all your information to the blister backing material.
VIS15 Vibratory Vision Inspection System
The compact Vibratory Inspection System, model VIS15, is a 15 lane bulk product inspection system that utilizes Scanware Spectra HR vision technology and proprietary algorithms to inspect products with ultra high resolution, transporting the products via common tooling using vibration at rates up to 360,000 products/hr. The system is able to inspect, accurately count, individually reject & verify, inspect for metal particulates and print labels while running continuously.
Our Focus topic for this edition is product handling/feeding systems, and how important it is to the blister packaging operation. We have authored a white paper on this topic, and you can read it here.
