Here at ProMach Pharma Solutions, we offer both plug-and-play and highly-tailored packaging systems. Dara Pharmaceutical Packaging equipment, supplied exclusively by NJM in North America, is always custom-built to fit each customer’s specific application.
One of the most popular Dara systems, the SYX-E-OR aseptic filling and closing machine for vials and bottles, has a modular configuration and many options available. Since each system is designed to handle the exact products, containers and closures the customer needs, the SYX-E-OR is ideal for many different industries including pharmaceuticals, biotech, cosmetics, perfumes and more.
The rotary, intermittent-motion SYX-E-OR fills liquid or powder products in vials or bottles made from glass, plastic or metal. Containers can be closed with snap-on caps, screw caps, childproof caps, aluminum caps, stoppers, spray/dosing pumps and droppers. It can be built as a single head system – the SYX-E-OR/S – to run at production speeds of up to 100 units per minute or as a dual-head system – the SYX-E-OR/D – to handle throughputs of up to 183 units per hour.
Fully servo-driven, the Dara SYX-E-OR provides accurate operation, quick changeovers, low maintenance, simple troubleshooting and easy adaptability to future changes such as the new package formats.
We were planning to have this system on exhibit at Interphex, but we will just have to bring it to you digitally for now! Learn more by reading our recent press release, plus connect with the NJM team if you have further questions!
Pharmaceutical and biotech leaders are gathering in New York City in two weeks for one of the hottest shows in the industry – Interphex! We’re excited to announce that this year the ProMach Pharma Business Line is launching some brand new equipment and we’re bringing back some customer favorites.
You might have seen the news from NJM last week about the new semi-manual Cumulus Model SLPP-15 Case Packer. Combining solutions from NJM and Wexxar Bel as well as serialization and aggregation options from OPTEL, it’s the smallest and most affordable case packing station currently on the market that satisfies upcoming aggregation legislation. In addition to handling regulated pharmaceuticals, it’s also ideal for OTC pharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals, cosmetics, foods, beverages and more.
NJM is also introducing the Dara NFL/2-RDL aseptic filling and closing machine for vials – a twist on the high speed SX-310-RDL we debuted last year but for smaller capacity lines. Just like the SX-310-RDL, the NFL/2-RDL fills vials and closes them with RayDyLyo caps, but now, the new system handles nests of pre-sterilized, ready-to-use vials. Massively simplifying small scale-production, the NFL/2-RDL is perfect for biotech companies and 503B pharmacies that are scaling up to small-batch commercial production. You can check out both the Dara NFL/2-RDL and the SX-310-RDL in person at the show!
The hugely popular LP-100R on-demand printer from WLS will also be back on exhibit. This stand-alone color printer produces top-of-the-line, wear-resistant labels at high throughputs, eliminating the need to inventory distinct labels for each product without sacrificing speed or quality.
That isn’t all! Matrix, Greydon and Shuttleworth (fellow ProMach Brands) will also be in our booth with a variety of pharma and biopharma equipment, plus there will be even more tried and true favorites from NJM. Register for free using our link and visit us at Interphex booth #2353 April 2-4 to learn about our world-class solutions!
How fast can a pharmaceutical packaging line go? We know many manufacturers and contract packers that want to put that question to the test! That’s why NJM has brought the top-of-the-line HSL family, Dara’s fastest filling and closing machines, to the United States and Canada.
Take, for example, the Dara HSL-PP/4 aseptic filling and closing machine for vials. On display at Healthcare Packaging Expo Booth #W-703 in October, this fully servo-driven solution runs up to 200 vials per minute using four heads at each station. Ideal for high-capacity, high-changeover lines, it offers 100 percent in-process weight control, low maintenance and simple changeovers.
The Dara HSL-PP/4 can be custom tailored to suit the needs of each biopharmaceutical customer. Capable of handling both liquids and powders, it can be programmed to fill glass or plastic vials in a variety of ways and with different stopper and cap applications. Options are available for sterile environments and cleanrooms.
Dara can equip the HSL-PP/4 with stainless steel or ceramic rotary piston pumps to achieve +/- 0.5 percent accuracy or with peristaltic pumps to achieve +/- 1 percent accuracy. No bottle / no fill / no stopper safety sensors limit errors. Eight checkweighing cells detect fill levels, while inspection systems identify missing and raised stoppers. The vacuum starwheel reject device ensures out-of-tolerance vials are rejected without reducing the line speed or removing good product.
The whole HSL family includes solutions that fill vials and/or syringes, as well as ready-to-use containers, ophthalmic bottles or large-format parenterals. The fastest system is the HSL-PP/8, which runs up to 400 packages per minute with eight heads at each station.
